Team Managers

A Team Manager is a volunteer who assists the coaches, players and parents. Team Managers can be responsible for absolutely anything and everything having to do with the team. The job of Team Manager is a big responsibility that allows the coaches to focus on the kids and keeps the team (coaches, players, and parents) operating efficiently. The Manager typically is the team accountant, travel agent, communications manager, scrimmage coordinator and even the social event coordinator.

Season Start

  • Meet with your coach to determine the coach and team manager responsibilities for both on ice and off ice activities

  • Register with USA Hockey as a team manager. 

  • Manager and locker room volunteers must complete a background check and Safesport. Please forward your confirmation email to the WSPHA Registrar. 

  • Attend WSPHA Manager Meeting

  • Schedule a Parent Meeting

  • Block rooms for Tournaments (if applicable)
