The primary goal of the WSPHA Player & Coaching Development Program is to formalize a structured development program by level for both girls and boys within the Association. The WSPHA Hockey Development Committee’s (HDC) primary focus will be on teaching the proper foundational skills necessary for each athlete to successfully transition to the next level of competitive hockey. We will create a minimum set of development standards for each level and we will provide our coaches with the tools and resources necessary to achieve these objectives.
